I've never thought that a lot of people would ever visit my own website or blog. However, as it seems, providing free information about IT security and selfhosting is in more demand than imagined.
With 133K page visits, the year 2025 was quite impressive.
You as a visitor typically did not just skim my blog posts, you looked at about 2.5 pages per visit and stayed close to a minute. Only 12% of visits ended after a single page. Very nice!
Most of you found my blog either directly (17.8k) or via Google (16k).
The most-read posts were hands-on selfhosting and security guides, especially CrowdSec with Traefik (10.2k visitors) and Fail2ban setups, so it looks like practical, step-by-step hardening content is exactly what you came for.
My post about CrowdSec was also shared by CrowdSec itself via various social media platforms. I feel honored!
And you are coming from all around the world, using various client devices and operating systems. The biggest share is from the US (18.3%) and Germany (18.1%), but there are also readers from France, Singapore, the UK, and many more. Even from places I will probably never get to visit.
